Educational Leadership

The Educational Leadership Studies program at West Virginia University prepares individuals for leadership positions in elementary, secondary, and post-secondary educational institutions. While most EDLS students pursue administrative careers, some prepare for college or university research, teaching and/or staff positions. The Educational Leadership Studies Masters of Arts degree can be divided into two categories:

Masters Public Education
An emphasis in public education will prepare students for positions as a principal or instructional supervisor.

Masters Higher Education
An emphasis in higher education will prepare students for academic and student affairs positions.
