HR&E Alumni Association

Several years ago a small group of HR&E alumni began to revitalize the College’s alumni organization. Their goals were:

To provide support to the College,
To recognize and assist current students in the College,
To help publicize the work and achievements of the College, and
To provide opportunities for alumni to socialize and network with one another.

The HR&E Alumni Association is open to all graduates of the College of Human Resources & Education. Currently there is no membership fee.

Raising the visibility of the College of Human Resources & Education Alumni Association has been an important goal of this group of dedicated alumni. As they have explored ways to revitalize the group, their efforts have provided additional opportunities for more people to be involved in alumni association activities. They have also reestablished their service connection with the College. They now annually sponsor:

Pre-Game Homecoming Brunch
A Series of Public Education Forums
Half-Time WVU Basketball Game Get-Together
$100 Recognition Awards for Outstanding Graduate Students in each of the College’s four academic departments each year since 2000.
Fall/Winter Coffee

In addition, the HR&E Alumni Association assists the College with activities such as:

Fall Pre-Game Tent Party
Fall Family Weekend Activities
