Students must have a current year Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form on file with the WVU Financial Aid Office by March 1st of each year to be considered for scholarship.To fill out a Fafsa application, please go to http://www.fafsa.com

In-coming freshmen are automatically considered for merit-based scholarship at the time they submit their application to WVU. For more information on WVU freshman financial aid and scholarships, visit www.finaid.wvu.edu

HRE Scholarship application & required documents must be submitted by February 1st.

General Scholarship Registration and Application Process

The HRE Scholarship application process requires a few steps that will help us process your application faster. All Scholarship application materials must be turned in by February 1st.

1) We ask that you first register as a scholarship applicant using our online registration form.

This form will close at 5:00 PM on February 1, 2012.

2) We then ask that you download, print, and complete the scholarship application as well as all required documents.

After you have completed the steps above, please bring a hard copy of your application, as well as all other required documents, to the HRE Dean’s office front desk (Room 802, Allen Hall) or mail the packet to the following address:

Additional University Scholarships Available to HRE Students

These additional scholarships are among the many that are available to students in the College of Human Resources & Education. Many of these scholarships are awarded through the WVU Undergraduate Scholars Program and the WVU Financial Aid Office. They are listed here because of their special relevance to students in the College of Human Resources & Education. To receive priority consideration for these and other university-wide scholarships, students must complete the admissions process to WVU by February 1. This includes submitting a completed undergraduate admission application along with a high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores.
